Mike trained as a Chartered Accountant with the international firm of Coopers & Lybrand, in 1974. After qualifying in 1977, he moved to their office in Guernsey in 1981 and developed an interest in off shore structures as used in tax planning, and qualified as a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. He later ran a trust company for a leading firm of advocates there, Ozannes, and has considerable experience in this field.
Since returning to England in 1986, he has devoted his time entirely to working in the tax field. He has been a Tax Partner with three firms of Chartered Accountants. Mikes main client focus at OneE Tax is profit extraction and cash extraction for owner-managed businesses.
