Having graduated from the University of London, Dougal initially joined the Inland Revenue for a short spell. On completion of his Revenue training, Dougal then joined the London office of one of the predecessor firms of KPMG where he trained as a Chartered Accountant, becoming a partner in 1985. Having spent 13 years as Senior Tax Partner at KPMG's Leicester office, Dougal set up his own practice in April 1998 in which he is still involved to this day.
Dougal, who as well as being a Chartered Accountant is also a qualified barrister, joined OneE Tax in February 2008 as the Technical Director. Dougal brings with him a wealth of experience in the design and implementation of bespoke tax strategies. He also plays an invaluable role in OneE’s liaison with HMRC enquiries and defending client solutions.
