Sufyan is the founder and CEO of OneE Tax. Having graduated from the University of Manchester with a joint honours degree in Economics and Corporate Finance, Sufyan began his accounting career with Deloitte & Touche. In 2001 Sufyan identified the gap in the marketplace for a specialist firm to provide bespoke tax solutions to owner managed businesses and founded what was to become the multi-award winning business that was to become OneE Tax.
The company's blistering growth landed Sufyan a string of awards, accolades and high-profile media coverage. Sufyan (along with fellow director Bashir Timol) won the Shell Livewire Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2003 for the local area, as well as the North West region. They were also runners-up in the national final. In addition, the pair led the company to being recognized as the UK’s fastest growing company in 2003. Amongst many other awards, in 2006, Sufyan received the prestigious Lloyds TSB Professional Excellence award. Various newspapers and magazines have run media profiles on Sufyan including the Financial Times, the BBC and Management Today.
