Having graduated from the University of London, Dougal initially joined the Inland Revenue for a short spell. On completion of his Revenue training, Dougal then joined the London office of one of the predecessor firms of KPMG where he trained as a Chartered Accountant, becoming a partner in 1985. Having spent 13 years as Senior Tax Partner at KPMG's Leicester office, Dougal set up his own practice in April 1998.
Dougal, who as well as being a Chartered Accountant is also a qualified barrister, joined OneE Tax in February 2008 as the Technical Director. Dougal brings with him a wealth of experience in the design and implementation of bespoke tax strategies. He also plays an invaluable role in OneE’s liaison with HMRC enquiries and defending client solutions.
